Your policy starts 7 days after you purchase your policy. This allows for full documentation to be issued to you and for you to make an informed decision on whether the policy is suitable for you and to exercise your right to cancel within 14 days of the policy start date.

With CPP, you make just one free phone call on 0808 100 22 55 and they'll immediately notify the issuers of your missing cards to have them cancelled. CPP will also request replacements for you. Don't forget you must report your loss to the local police and get an incident report number for future reference.

Contact CPP as soon as you realise that your cards are missing. Don't wait for more than 24 hours after you discover the loss as this may affect any claim you wish to make.

No. The policy will remain in force until your renewal date unless you tell CPP otherwise. We can transfer your payment details to another payment card or arrange for the premium to be taken from your account by Direct Debit.

No. CPP will only use your details in accordance with the terms and conditions. All your card details are stored in strict confidence.CPP's procedures conform to the 1998 Data Protection Act.


That's OK, but to make life easier, call CPP first and it will all be done for you. CPP also ensures new cards are issued to you. If you do cancel your cards with your issuers remember that you still need to contact CPP within 24 hours of discovering the loss to activate your cover.


Your card issuers are under no obligation to tell anyone if your details have changed. If you tell CPP first that you are moving/ lost your cards, CPP will inform your card issuers, providing peace of mind and saving you time.


This depends on the length of cover you choose, i.e. one year or three years. If you have selected a three year policy, please ensure that you review your cover periodically to ensure it remains adequate.

You have the right to cancel your policy. If you decide to cancel within 14 days of your start date or renewal date, call CPP on 0870 600 30 22 and they'll cancel your policy right away and refund the payment that you have made

If you choose to cancel your policy outside of the cooling off periods, you won't be entitled to a refund.


Once a year if you've chosen a one-year policy or once every three years if you've chosen a three-year policy. Policies renew automatically unless you notify CPP. Notice of renewals will be sent about six weeks before your renewal date.
